CAC helps individuals and community groups understand the government decision-making process and how to use various laws and tools that ensure access to government. Answering questions about community campaigns and the effective advocacy for a cause are important components of CAC’s work.
On an annual basis, our community lawyers answer more than 200 inquiries from the public on matters of public concern. Beyond the organizing assistance that we provide to community groups, the following are typical questions received by CAC:
